Electric Boiler for Floor Heating

Due to its compact size (150×625 mm), an electric floor heating unit is an excellent solution when there is no space to install a large heating system.

Electric boilers are also well-suited as a temporary heating solution during construction, particularly for underfloor heating. Installation is simple, and the thermostat controls the temperature within the range of 0…+40°C. A thermostat with a range of 5…+85°C and overheat protection up to +110°C is also available.

Electric boilers are also used in renewable energy heating systems (solar energy) and geothermal heating systems. It is recommended to use a storage tank as well to make the heating system more energy-efficient.

Delivery time is usually 1 week (depending on whether the items are in stock at the factory).

Installation Information:

The set includes: a metal housing with 3/4″ outlets, 1x heating element, and 1x thermostat (5…85°C) with overheat protection.

A circulation pump, expansion tank, and check valves must be purchased as needed.

Important information:

• The heating element must always be submerged in water to prevent overheating and burning out.
• Regular limescale removal extends the life of the heating element.
• When the heating element is in operation, there must be continuous circulation.
• Electric boilers must be installed vertically, with the thermostat facing downward.

The flow-through water heater is designed to be connected to a heating system, which allows the heating system to be turned off during periods when it is only necessary to heat water in the hot-water tank or in a radiator.

The standard model is available in capacities ranging from 3 kW to 9 kW at 3 x 400 V. The boiler is constructed of heavy-duty boiler tubing and weather-resistant (COR-TEN) steel, and is insulated.
The heating element is a standard 2″ RG immersion heater equipped with an H-type junction box (thermostat 5–85 °C and thermal cut-off at 110 °C).

Good to know:

• In residential use, flow-through boilers must not come into direct contact with domestic water.
• There must be two separate systems: a domestic water system and a heating water system.
• The submersible heater must be completely submerged in water at all times.
• It is recommended to remove limescale at regular intervals.
• Flow-through boilers must be installed in a vertical position, with the connection box facing downward.
• The circulation pump must be running when the radiator is in heating mode.
