Heating elements in enclosures are primarily used to prevent condensation and frost from forming on electronic devices and enclosures. Heating elements are primarily used in electrical panels, parking meters, ATMs, and other electronic devices located outdoors. The heating element maintains the required temperature for electronic devices in outdoor environments, which in turn ensures trouble-free operation and prevents the device from malfunctioning.
The shield’s heating element is available in various profiles (see the images below); it is primarily made of anodized aluminum.
