ATEX heating cables – their main advantage is that they can be cut to length; they can be cut to the desired length as needed and at any point along the cable. An ATEX heating cable can be extended, and sections can be crossed without posing a risk of burn-through.

ATEX heating cables are available in power ratings of 10 W, 15 W, 20 W, 25 W, 30 W, 40 W, 45 W, 60 W, 75 W, 90 W/m and a temperature resistance of up to +250°C

ATEX heating cables —pre-assembled kits ranging from 10 to 90 W/m—are designed to prevent water pipes from freezing, for both internal and external installation, up to +250°C. Self-regulating heating cables are also designed to protect metal or plastic pipes from dangerously low temperatures and to prevent freezing or to melt ice and snow, down to -40 degrees Celsius. In addition to all this, self-regulating heating cables are used to melt ice and snow on roofs and in rain gutters and downspouts, to protect water and drain pipes from freezing, and to maintain temperature in hot water pipes. Great for pipe insulation!

The ATEX heating cable comes as a complete kit with a power cable, the length of which you can choose yourself. For in-pipe installation of the self-regulating heating cable, you’ll also need to purchase a heating cable connection fitting for the pipe separately.
