A heating mat suitable for a wide range of applications, from small areas to heating cable drums. The heating mat is designed to melt snow and ice and keep the surface warm. It is designed to withstand harsh and demanding conditions and typically thaws up to 30 cm per day, and up to 60 cm per day in sandy soil.
The heating mat is easy to use and has a grounded plug. It thaws frozen ground when excavation work needs to be done in the winter. It is also suitable for thawing other outdoor areas, such as entrances, frozen pipes, cable ducts, wells, and water tanks.
The heating mat is made of nylon fibers with a specially treated PVC coating. The insulation is self-extinguishing foam plastic. The mat also features a built-in automatic temperature limiter set to approximately +60 °C.
Energy consumption is very low during heating—7.2 kWh/m²/day—and consumption is significantly lower in temperature maintenance mode.
