Eltherm-heated hoses are designed and manufactured individually according to customer specifications. Our development department will be happy to meet your requirements and find a suitable solution. Heated hoses always consist of an inner layer, a temperature sensor, a heating cable, insulation, an outer jacket, and an end cap. The temperature sensor provides temperature data and allows the heated hose to be controlled via a controller. Whether fittings are installed depends on the application, operating pressure, and temperature. In addition to connection fittings, hose or pipe ends are also available. Of course, Eltherm offers flexible heated hoses that can be used in hazardous areas (ATEX).
You can choose from a variety of materials to suit your needs. For example, a metal hose with a stainless steel reinforcement is more mechanically durable and suitable for higher temperatures. A silicone outer jacket is washable and provides greater flexibility and a smaller bend radius. We focus on customization; every heated hose is designed and manufactured according to the customer’s specific requirements. Fluoropolymer and polyamide materials are used in high-pressure applications. With our products, we can offer a solution for nearly any application. Each heated hose line has a built-in heating element ( adjustable or self-regulating), ensuring optimal heating of the environment.

To ensure quality and, ultimately, a good taste , the temperature must be maintained between +40 °C and +45 °C. An electrically heated hose is needed to keep the chocolate flowing throughout the entire transport process, from the container to the final processing stage.
