Nõuanded Küttesüsteemi korrapärane hooldus on oluline osa
Mineraalisolatsiooniga küttekaableid kasutatakse kõrget temperatuuri nõudvate protsesside hoidmiseks (nt keemia-, naftakeemia-, nafta- ja gaasitööstus). Erinevalt takistusküttekaablitest või isereguleeruvatest küttekaablitest taluvad mineraalisolatsiooniga küttekaablid kuni 1000°C temperatuuri . Lisaks saab niiskus- ja kemikaalikindlat MI-kaablit kasutada protsesside soojendamiseks ja temperatuuri hoidmiseks torustikes, anumates, krüogeensetes mahutites, elektrijaamades, masinates ja seadmetes. “Clean Laser Seal” tehnoloogia tagab ka kõrgeima vastupidavuse erinevatele kemikaalidele.
Mineraalisolatsiooniga küttekaablid on valmistatud ja monteeritud täielikult kvaliteetsest nikli/kroomi sulamist 825 või roostevabast terasest (1.4541). “Clean Laser Seal” tehnoloogia tagab homogeense ja 100% stabiilsuse ning seega tohutult kõrge töökindluse. Isolatsioonikiht koosneb magneesiumoksiidist, millel on väga kõrge sulamistemperatuur. Lisaks pakub puhas laserkeevitus tänapäeva parimat võimalikku kaitset pingekorrosioonipragunemise eest rakendustes, kus võivad esineda leostuvad kloriidid, kõrge väävlisisaldus või muud väga agressiivsed kemikaalid.
Lisaks kaitsele agressiivsete kemikaalide eest taluvad MI-kaablid kuni 1000 °C temperatuuri ning on tänu väliskestale vastupidavad nii niiskusele kui ka kuumusele. See on oluline ohutusaspekt, eriti potentsiaalselt plahvatusohtlikes keskkondades (ATEX) . Kõrgete temperatuuride juhtimiseks kasutatakse roostevaba 825 materjali.
MI-kaablid koosnevad küttejuhist, mineraalisolatsioonist ja väliskestast. Need on saadaval ühe- või kahesooneliste küttekaablitena mineraalisolatsiooniga külmjuhtmeühendustega. Külmjuhtme vaba ots on suletud ja ühendatud painduva toitejuhtmega. Läbimõõt vastab külmajuhtmele pluss 1,5 mm² maandusühendusele. Igas külmas juhtotsas on tulekindlast roostevabast terasest surverõnga hülss.
Näiteks: Kontsentreeritud päikeseenergia (CSP) tehases NOOR III tuleb sulasooli kuumutada temperatuurini 550 °C ja ennekõike: hoida temperatuuril. Neid kasutatakse päikeseenergia transportimiseks, salvestamiseks ja muundamiseks energiaks.
